Kids Camp
Arkansas Waterfowl Association Kids Camp is a one of a kind 3 day outdoor experience created to introduce youth to a wide range of outdoor skills, safety practices, and conservation principles. Each year, we welcome approximately 70 boys and girls ages 8 to 15 and provide them with a safe, structured, and engaging environment where they can learn, explore, and build confidence.
Kids Camp is one of the most meaningful ways we carry out our mission. It gives young people the chance to step outside, try new activities, gain practical knowledge, and develop a deeper appreciation for the outdoors in a supportive setting.
A Hands On Outdoor Experience
Kids Camp is designed to be interactive, educational, and memorable. Campers do not simply hear about outdoor skills. They get to experience them firsthand through guided instruction, demonstrations, and activities led by knowledgeable volunteers and partner organizations.
This hands on approach helps youth learn in a way that is both exciting and meaningful. It also gives them the opportunity to build self confidence, take responsibility, and discover new interests in the outdoors.

More Than Just Camp
Kids Camp is about more than learning outdoor skills. It is about helping youth grow in character, confidence, and responsibility. Throughout camp, participants are encouraged to listen, learn, work together, and approach each activity with respect and a willingness to try something new.

A Lasting Impact on the Next Generation
Kids Camp is one of the most important ways Arkansas Waterfowl Association invests in the future. It reflects our mission of introducing youth to hunting, fishing, outdoor recreation, education, preservation, and conservation in ways that are practical, positive, and memorable.
We believe that when young people are given the chance to learn outdoors in a safe and encouraging setting, they gain more than skills. They gain confidence, purpose, and a respect for the natural world that can stay with them for a lifetime.

Built on Faith, Family, and Heritage
Like all Arkansas Waterfowl Association programs, Kids Camp is shaped by the values that define our organization: faith, family, heritage, integrity, and preservation. These values guide the way we serve youth and families and help create a camp environment that is welcoming, encouraging, and trust driven.
Our goal is to provide an experience that families can feel good about and that campers will remember long after the final day.
